Make-up Gift Ideas
Today two things were on my mind: Christmas and makeup. Makeup is, in my opinion, a great gift to give to any girly girl because its really one size fits all. Yes, some colors look better than others, but its pretty universal. Here are five products that have really caught my eye over the past few months:
The first product is Baby lips by Maybelline. Not only do they look super cute, and come in clear or tinted, they have SPF 20 protection and clinically tested formula, moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours. What more can you ask for for only $3.99!
POP Beauty is a brand that I just found out about and they have some really cool stuff! The number one thing though is Glitter Must-Have. These 12 glitters can be mixed in to eye shadow, nail polish, you name it! I can't get over how amazing that is and its only $15.00!
Benefit is by far my favorite makeup brand. Which is why when I saw Ticket to Glossytown I was SO excited! I love Benefit's lip glosses because they're not too sticky, and they have the perfect amount of pigment.

Something else by Benefit that I am excited about is Finding Mr.Bright. You really don't know how much a highlighter can do unless you've tried one. And let me tell you, even if you have tried a highlighter you really don't know how much they can do unless you've tried a Benefit highlighter! Finding Mr.Bright is $27.99.
And last but not least, is the Naked Palette by Urban Decay. This might not look like much, but it really is! The colors in this palette I think would look good on almost all skin tones and are perfect for everyday looks! It costs $48.00 and comes with 12 eye shadows, a mini primer potion, and a pro-quality Good Karma shadow brush.

Lovely Lace
Lace is a major trend right now and one that I am loving! It's very feminine and can be worn casual or dressed up. Something you might not expect lace to be on, though, are shoes. Well think again! I have to admit, that when I first heard about them I was a little skeptical. But after looking at some pictures, any doubts I had were gone. Here are some I had to share:

Christmas Dresses
This is one of the best times of the year for fashion lovers. Not only can we ask for things that we would never buy ourselves, but we get to dress up!
One of my biggest dilemmas is finding something appropriate to wear. Although that mini sequined dress is oh-so-adorable, it's not that functional to wear to church or to Grandma's for the annual family holiday party. Here are three dresses from Forever 21 that are super cute, while keeping every thing covered up.

In The Spot Light :: "Juicy Couture"
In 1996 Pamela Skaist Levy and Gela Taylor began a design label called Juicy Couture. Little did they know that with in just a few years Juicy Couture would become one of the top designer fashion labels available.
Liz Claiborne Inc. saw the potential of Juicy Couture and purchased the label. That same day “Vogue” magazine wrote that Juicy Couture is the “future of fashion”. The amazing thing about Liz Claiborne is that it still allows Pamela Skaist Levy and Gela Taylor to be in one hundred percent control of the design concepts.
Before Pamela Skaist Levy and Gela Taylor began Juicy Couture they first let out a line of maternity jeans called Travis jeans in 1994. In 1996 they changed the name to Juicy Couture and dropped the line of jeans (which would later come back not as maternity Travis jeans, but as Juicy jeans).
Pamela Skaist Levy came from a fashion background having studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Gela Taylor was an actress who had numerous roles in films and television shows.
Today Juicy Couture now also sells clothing for men, and can be found at high end department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Gus Mayer, Lord and Taylor, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue. They are also an independent outlet.
They are most well known for there signature tracksuit, and Juicy Couture is still considered the “future of fashion”.

Fall Flair
When I was very little I wore a dress every day. Then when I got a bit older I never wore a dress. I think I am going back to my old ways. I find myself choosing them over other things more and more often. But not just any dress, but one style in particular: The Flair Dress. I have to pull my self away from them at stores. Here are two dresses that my mind was saying yes, yes, YES to but my wallet was saying no, no, NO.
